Sustainability
In many container decorating plants, the environment is the last thing on peoples’ minds. With solvent-based conventional inks, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds and literally tons of wasted label stock materials, the Earth is being assaulted with almost every bottle they decorate.
Not so at Technigraph.
Regarded as a pioneer in sustainable decorating alternatives, Technigraph has a strong record of developing Earth-friendly decorating processes. We began to transition away from solvent-based inks to much safer UV-cured inks in 1970, well before it was commonplace, and now we use only UV inks and UV spray frosts. We have also made it cost-effective to screen print directly onto packaging, dramatically reducing the waste and weight of the final package due to the elimination of a pressure sensitive label.
