Specialty Inks
Always wanting to give our customers a competitive edge, Technigraph has developed a series of proprietary inks that can jazz up stock packaging
without a huge investment. These screen printing techniques are ideal for highlighting a unique feature of your product. Need a few ideas? Here are some of our favorites:
Super Silver
Super Silver Ink is the ultimate metallic effect for fine detail - and at 60% to 70% less than hot-stamping, you can use it on your bottles, your jars, your tubes and your closures. Here, we have Alpha's 4oz 70-400 PET jar topped by Seaquist Closures' 70mm Camelia dispensing lid. Still not enough space to get your message out? Technigraph can put a label on the bottom at the same time we decorate the jar!
Spot Frost
Spot Frosts and Decorative Coatings can be used to create interplay between the product color, the container and the decorative graphics. A wide variety of accenting tints are available, and the frosts can be applied in various shapes in positive, reversed or wrapped around the bottle.
Textures
Textured Inks make a package feel special, while adding color at the same time! Textures can be applied in neat shapes and patterns, or be used to highlight logos or large copy. (You can even add a faux logo to a stock bottle without the cost of a custom mold.)
Thermochromatics
Thermochromatic Inks magically disappear when they warm up in the bath. Imagine a child’s delight when Dirty Danny's messy face becomes "clean" when the bottle is submerged... Adult bath products can also benefit from this fun interactive feature!
Glow in the Dark
Glow-in-the-Dark Inks are great for kids’ packaging or unique holiday product lines. They can be applied in-line with up to six screen print colors or other innovative Technigraph processes. Now your brand will grab attention 24 hours a day!
Glitters
Glitter Inks are perfect for making your package stand out on the shelf. This ink sparkles, reflecting light in ways that ensure your product is noticed. Great for icons, logos, patterns and shapes on promotional items or any products created for the child in all of us.
Antique Silver
Antique Silver Ink is great if you are interested in metallics with a unique twist. Antique Silver can be applied with up to five screen print colors or other creative Technigraph processes. The protective coating will enhance durability and shine, and the silver ink will gradually “tarnish” over time, taking on a truly unique & antique quality.
Black Light
Black Light Inks bring the party with them. Use these inks to achieve authentic black light effects on liquor bottles, cosmetics or other personal care items that customers would carry into a nightclub - or any other place where black lights are lighting up the night!
Water Droplets
Our Water Droplet process uses texture that really looks like droplets on the surface. This technique is great for touting the moisture-rich benefits of skin products. We apply it in-line with up to five additional screen print colors or processes on high-speed equipment.
